attended the fresher recruitement drive of TCS for 2007 batch on 29 th
Sep 2007 at Mumbai and got selected.

1) Written Test:- It consists 3 sections
1. Vocabulary:- Antonyms and Synonyms and a passage with 10 options

3. Critical Reasoning

Passage was about White and black.(donn rem..)You have 10 choices from
which you have to fill the blanks.
For aptitude just go through the previous papers.....All que were
similar,only value has changed.....Understand the concept

based on HINDI,GUJRATI & PUNJABI.
i dont remember remaining questions but all from previous papers
For technical round prepare your final year project well. And concepts
of OOPs and databases.....And basics of all languages like C, C++,JAVA.
They asked me about Names of all semester subjects in MCA, About my
college, final year project,Logics used in Project,Joins,RDBMS concepts
and keys concepts in DBMS. JSP pages designing,deployment commands in
project,Beans logics,Parameter passing in C++,Fabonicci series
algorithm,Connectivity coding in JAVA, Server concepts and version of
tomcat server, tree to graph conversion,Circular Linked list,SDLC,Test
planning, Waterfall and Prototyping model, Heap sorting, storage classes
in C, scope in C, OOPs concepts etc.
For HR round ,just be cool.....They just check your confidence and
commitment towards the company
They had asked me
1)Introduce urself and abt family background
2)Why TCS
3)What was ur role in your project
4)Explain database and draw ER diagram of your project
5)Are you comfortable in working in chennai
6)Are you ready to work in shifts
7)Who is the CEO of TCS and asked me about his current interview
8)Will you go for further studies etc..
After 10 days my result is declared....88 students had got selected from
mumbai (except localites)
The most important thing is, always pray to God. Be confident. Prepare
well. All the best. God will always be with you and help you...
