Hi everybody,i had appeared for KPIT on 12th feb 2008....it was incampus for
2009 passout students at SGGS college,Nanded....my status was TY IT....i got
selected for KPIT......We were nearly 250 people and 32 among us cleared
aptitude test and they selected 16....
selection procedure as follows:
APTITUDE TEST
35 QUESTIONS CONTANING 2 SECTIONS DURATION 30 MIN ONLY
1)QUANTITATIVE:
problems based on heights & distances, boats & strams,numbers, profit-loss,
percentage, time n work, time n distance, allegation or mixtures, ratio &
proportion, pipes,& on basic maths
R.S.Agarwal is sufficient........ TOTAL 20 QUESTIONS.....
I remembered some Q’s……
1)the top of ladder is 8m above the floor then the ladder is moved far from
ladder by 2m,then it was parallel to floor calculate the length of ladder.

2)a,a+2,a+4 are prime numbers,then find number of possible solution of a?

3)abcd=1 then minimum possibility of value of (1+a)(1+b)(1+c)(1+d)?

underlined.…..All you need to do is to select among the 5 choices the best
one that fits in……
time management is very imp....

2) TECHNICAL INTERVIEW
They only test whether u have basic funda or not. Be ready for any ques on
what ever subject u have given in ur CV. Be confident with ur answer if u
give any wrong ans admit it they will be impressed & they may test ur
knowledge by telling u wrong ans then confidently handle that challenge
Friends im da one who faced technical interview twice and luckily,they had
not taken my HR round….
First time he asked me @
- Basics of C....
- Basics of c++ .....he gave me a paper & told to write down @ polymorphism
and data encapsulation,after 5 min he took tat paper and seen wat I had
written…. I wrote @ general defination of polymorphism & shortly explained
its types i.e. compile time and runtime…..and defination of data
encapsulation and its advantage…..he impressed by my handwriting and da way
I hav written in less time…..
And asked @ family background & some general Q’s……first interview lasts for
nearly 20 minutes….
Then he told to wait for HR round,but after 10 minutes,they called me and
one of my senior(member of placement committee) told me tat they want to
test my basic concepts….means again technical….
Then second time the different person is there…..and he started with my
project (I had done a project in VB),so he asked me everything @ my project
and @ vb also….and then asked @ data structures(as I had written this
subject as one of my area of interest,means they asked whatever is written
in ur resume,so well prepared with ur resume,means don’t blindly write
anything in ur resume……and then he asked some basic concepts of c & c++…..
Difference between macro and inline function,etc;…..
this Question I didn’t able 2 explain according to him,he is not convinced
with my answer,this was lasts 4 nearly 30 min….and then he told me to wait
for results……..
BOTH THE INTERVIEWS WERE VERY GOOD.......THEY SELECTED 16 STUDENTS.....I WAS
VERY HAPPY.....
Just be cool, confident…..….go through R.S.Agarwal……and with God’s grace and
luck u will be into KPIT… Wish all your dreams come true......BELIEVE URSELF......
