About the Institute :-
Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) was set up in 1996 by the Gurukul
Kangri Vishvavidyalaya to conduct a full time MBA programme. FMS aims
at developing competent professional managers to effectively deal with
competitive business environment. Running smoothly under the able
academic stewardship of present vice chancellor, Dr. Dharam Pal, the
Faculty is striving to become an institute of excellence for
management education, training, and research. Refreshingly, with the
firm commitment to propagating educational philosophy of the Vedas
and the inspiring ideas of Guru Swami Dayanand, the Gurukul Kangri
University creates a balanced synthesis between ancient Indian wisdom
and modern scientific temper.

Eligibility
Graduate (TDC) in any discipline with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST/GKV
graduates) marks. Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying
examination may also apply.
Campus and Facilities
Accommodation/Hostel Facilities :
A Hostel for
accommodating boys is located at the Campus. A separate hostel for
girls is available at Dehradun Campus.
Recreation :
The
Recreation and sports facilities Courts for Lawn Tennis, Basket
Ball, Volley Ball, Badminton and Cricket are available and being
availed by the students.
Catering /
Mess :
Adequate
Catering/Mess facilities are provided at the hostels.
Health and
Welfare :
Adequate
medical attendance facilities are provided for at the Campus in the
form of Govt. Hospital.
Computing :
The
Faculty has one of the most sophisticated computer centres equipped
with the latest version of hardware and software. Presently it has
pentium connected with Laser, Inkjet and Dot Matrix Printers. The
computer dome is also connected with internet.
Library :
Faculty has well equipped library with a wide range of management
and computers books. The library also takes pride in its collection
of Audio-Video and CDs, Cassettes on various management related
topics. In addition to standard books on management, the library is
subscribing to a number of Indian and Foreign Journals, newspapers,
magazines etc. The Total collection of library books is 5000
(approx) with a backing of central library and reference library
having a hudge collection of more than 1.25 lakhs books and journals
to feed the students of various Faculties.
