About the Institute :-
Established in 1989, Noorul Islam College of Engineering has now
become one of the distinguished and popular institution offering
technical and management education in Kanyakumari district of
Tamilnadu. The college with its campus spread over an area of 150
acres is situated in the serene and picturesque slope of Western Ghats
near the famous Padmanabhapuram palace. The campus is about 55 km
from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala with international
airport, and 30 km from Kanyakumari which is well connected by rail
and road..

Eligibility
A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with an aggregrate
(In Part III) of 50% for Humanitites and Social Science and 55% for
Science and Engineering for SC/ST candidates, it is 45% and 50%
respectively.
Fee Structure
No Capitation Fee. Selection by Merit. Fees as prescribed by
government of Tamil Nadu.
Campus and Facilities
Accommodation/Hostel Facilities :
The College
has, within its premises separate and well furnished students
hostels for gents and ladies which make the students feel at home.
A separate PG hostel (with A/C) is coming up and will be ready by
this academic year.
Recreation/Sports :
The College
provides the following games and sports and provision for
recreation. (a) Foot Ball (b) Volley Ball (c) Cricket (d) Weight
Lifting and Body Building.
Catering /
Mess :
Each hostels
has an excellent mess that provides delicious South Indian food.
Apart from the mess there are three different canteens functioning
within the premises of the college providing tea, snacks, meals
(both vegetarian and non-vegetarian) round the clock.
Health and
Welfare :
A Health
center has been functioning in the college campus since the dawn of
the new millennium. It has all the modern facilities for giving
first aid to the students and staff in case of any accidents and
also for continued medical treatment of in-patients. There are at
present 12 beds provided in the health centre.
Computing :
The
Campus has separate well equipped computer lab exclusively for P.G.
courses. Latest softwares in different areas of Management are also
available in the lab. Each system is being connected with Internet
and the students are given ample time to browse on the Internet.
The mainframe lab houses IBM AS400e server with 25-IBM nodes
equipped with latest softwares, is being used by the Management
Students to acquire get training in the same.
Library :
The Library is housed in a spacious three storied building. A large
number of books relating to Management Studies and around 35 reputed
National and International journals and periodicals on Management
adorns the Library. Teaching aids like Video Cassettes, CD-ROMS
etc., are provided in the library for the benefit of Management
Students to emulate an excel in Managerial skills..

placement cell with a full time Placement Officer. The aim of
this cell is to foster and maintain active interaction with
