The above fees do not include hostel (boarding and lodging charges
which have been stated separately under "Hostels"), travel,
clothing, laundry and other personal items.
The
fees are payable for every Term latest by the first day of the
Term, except the Admission Fee, which is payable as per the
Selection Letter.
We would be pleased to give 10% rebate in the fees to those
who make the payment of fees for entire two years duration in one
lot.
All the fees and charges are to be paid by cash or cheque/demand
draft in favour of "Aravali Institute of Management" payable at
Jodhpur.
If the fees are not paid latest by the stipulated last date then
the prescribed late fee will be charged for a month, after which
the name of the concerned student will be struck off the Institute
rolls.
We sincerely believe that doing things in time is one of the most
important aspects of management. We have no other reason to charge
the late fees except just to instill the importance of time in the
students. As our existing students and alumni know, we put all
these late fees in Students Welfare Fund, which is used for the
various activities of the students like sports, cultural, picnic,
classes outside, etc. for which we do not charge.
The fees once paid are non-refundable.
The AIM Management reserves the right to charge any other fees
from the students or to change the rate of any fee components as
may be necessary. However, due notice would be given while levying
such fees or changing any fees. |
Campus and Facilities
Accommodation/Hostel Facilities :
In our Faculty
& Students Residences Complex, we have hostel for the boys. In a
separate building, we have hostel for the girls. The hostel premises
are adequately equipped with various facilities and infrastructure.
Each student in the hostel is provided with cot, mattress, pillow,
cupboard, study table and study chair. The hostel also has kitchen
and dining hall to serve nutritious vegetarian breakfast, lunch and
dinner to the hostelites, as per the menu decided by the students'
Mess Committee. It also has a Common Room with television, computers
for homework, playground with sports facilities, etc. In addition,
these premises have a Guest House for the use of our visiting
faculty, which also facilitates the hostelites to meet and interact
informally with the experts and professionals visiting us. A faculty
member, who acts as the warden, stays in these premises.
The hostel charges are as under:
All three meals (vegetarian) every day : Rs. 1,750 per calendar
month
Accommodation : Rs. 1,750 per calendar month
Meals are compulsory for all the students availing the hostel
facility. However, those students not staying in the hostel but
wishing to avail the lunch facility (at the Institute) are required
to pay Rs. 700 per calendar month. The above stated hostel and the
lunch charges for every month are payable latest by the last day of
the preceding month. All the charges are payable by cash or cheque/demand
draft in favour of "Aravali Institute of Management" payable at
Jodhpur. If the charges are not paid latest by the stipulated last
date then the prescribed late fee will be charged for a month, after
which the name of the concerned student will be struck off the
hostel list.
Recreation :
Institute has various clubs and committees with the required
facilities which regularly organise the cultural, sports and other
recreational activities.
Catering/Mess
:
Institute's hostel has facilities for cooking and serving pure
vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is prepared by
Student's Mess Committee. The Institute has a unique system whereby
all the students, faculty, staff and guests eat together in
Institute's spacious cafeteria, on all the working days.
Health and
Welfare :
Institute has
the first aid facilities available both in the hostel as well as in
the Institute. In addition, there are some empanelled doctors to
whom the students are referred in case required.
Computing :
With a view to ensure that all AIM students are able to use
effectively the latest available information technology tools, we
presently have 50 computer systems from IBM/Compaq and four HP laser
printers, connected in Local Area Network (LAN) with 64 kbps leased
line for 24 hours internet connectivity.
Library : The library plays a pivotal role in an educational
institution. With a view to build a top quality library and not to
fill up the library with junk books, we got carried out a unique
exercise. On our request, the head of IIM Ahmedabad library analysed
their books issuance records of five years and provided us a list of
the most frequently issued books. Accordingly the first set of books
was procured for AIM library.
While each student is provided a set of textbooks and teaching
material by AIM, the library provides place for extension reading.
Presently the AIM library has around 3000 books and 1000 CDs & video
cassettes on management topics. We plan to add over 1000 more titles
every year to the library.
The Institute also subscribes to over 100 periodicals and
publications including newspapers, magazines and journals in
Management and allied areas.
Academic Staff
The
Institute recognizes the importance of faculty as a core
resource. Accordingly, conducive environment is provided to
attract and retain the best talent in management teaching with
adequate managerial work experience. Continuous development of
faculty is strength of the Institute. The core faculty at
