About the Institute :-

Tolani Institute of Management Studies (TIMS) was started in 1995 to conduct AICTE approved PG course in Management. TIMS is a part of a large educational complex managed by the Gandhidham Collegiate Board (GCB) that was founded by visionary Kaka Prabhuda S. Tolani, an industrialist and shipping magnet.  Located in Gandhidham-Adipur, a leading commercial township of combined Kandla Port complex, the TIMS is known for its innovative specializations and value systems. Its mission is to expose young energetic person to emerging opportunities and to prepare them for availing those opportunities

Computing  : The Institute provides computer lab facilities to all the students.  The computer  center is equipped with an IBM PENTIUM-II processor based NT Server.  12 IBM Pentium-MMX 233Mhz having Windows '95, Microsoft Office 97, etc. Another 13 PCs connected to Novel Network with server P-75. Printers (DMP, INK JET & LASER).  Collection of latest softwares like Microsoft Frontpage '98, SmartSuite, Statistical & Mathematical Softwares.  Efforts are going on to constantly update the facilities with latest technology.  Institute has got INTERNET facilities too.

Library : The Institute has an exclusive well developed library having more than 2000 volumes of various Indian and foreign authors and 58 national and international business journals and magazines.  In addition to TIMS library, students of TIMS can use the facilities offered by well developed libraries of sister institutes of Tolani group, with more than 15,000 titles of various Indian & Foreign authors. Library facilities are being computerized at present.

 

 

Eligibility

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate without rounding off. Students appearing for Final Year of Degree Examination are also eligible to apply. Students with any kind of legitimate work experience will be given preference in admission. Their admission, if selected will be subject to obtaining minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and submission of their final year's result of Graduation at the time of admission.

 

Fee Structure

Fee payable to the School is as follows :

Non-refundable :
Tuition fee per semester - Rs. 20,000/-
Admission Fees - Rs.500/- on admission only
TIMS Alumni Life Membership Fees - Rs.500/- on admission only
Hostel Rental fees per sementer - Rs.1,800/- excluding electricity charges

Refundable :
Caution Money & Library Deposit - Rs.5,000/-
to be deposited by an Account Payee Demand Draft in favour of "Tolani Institute of Management Studies" payable at Dena Bank or SBI, Adipur (Kachchh), at the beginning of each semester.
Mess Deposit - Rs.750/-
Electricity Deposit - Rs.400/-
Hostel Deposit - Rs.300/-

NRI or NRI (Non-Resident Indian) sponsored candidates will have to pay tution fees of US$ 1,000/- or equivalent in UK Sterling pounds for each semester, other fees may be paid in Indian Rupees.
