D.N.R. COLLEGE, BHIMAVARAM
About the Institute :- D.N.R. College was started as W.G.B. College in 1945 and later developed to the status of first grade college in 1948 under the management of W.G.B. College Association. Subsequently the Association was renamed as D.N.R. College in recognition of the outstanding services rendered by Late Sri Dantuluri Narayana Raju, the founder Secretary and Correspondent of the Management Association. Located on the 55 acre educational complex in Bhimavaram, the College started its MBA course in 1993-94 to build a cadre of professional managers and entrepreneurs by imparting them relevant knowledge and skills through a judicious blend of theory and practice. The course is affiliated to the Andhra University.

Campus and Facilities Accommodation/Hostel Facilities : There is a separate P.G. attached hostel for P.G. Students with an accommodation facility for 300 students, in which SC, ST & BC students belonging to M.B.A. Course are also accommodated. The Management desires to construct a separate hostel building for P.G. students shortly. Recreation : Catering / Mess : Health and Welfare : Computing : As this institution is also having M.C.A. course in the campus, its well equipped computer laboratory is being utilised for M.B.A. Course also. The centre has the latest software and Lan & Unix system with 25 terminals managed by a team of computer professionals. The computer centre has State-of-the-art Computer equipment including multimedia which is the latest trend of the information technology. The laboratory is equipped with the latest equipment like IBM server. Library : Excellent library accommodated in well planned building with spacious reading room and reference section equipped with 55,000 books and 250 journals and periodicals, is a remarkable asset to the college. A separate library is existing exclusively for P.G. Courses with rich collection of reference books and back numbers of standard journals. A separate library is existing for P.G. Courses with 18,000 books and 85 journals of National and International repute supported by back numbers. As the MBA Course is mostly interdisciplinary in nature, all the books acquired for M.A. (Economics) & M.Com. are equally useful to MBA students. In addition, a vast collection of 1500 Management books and latest journals are added to the library during the last three academic years for the benefit of MBA students. Out of 85 journals subscribed regularly for P.G. courses 40 journals are directly useful for the students pursuing MBA Programme.
