The Magna College of Engineering was founded in 1999. It is a non-minority unaided engineering college. The college is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi vide F.No.732-52-151 (NDEG)/ET/99 dated 13-08-1999. The college has been granted continuation of approval by AICTE in 2002 for 2 consecutive academic years 2002 - 2003 and 2003 - 2004. vide F.No.732-52-335(E)/ET/99 dated 19-06-2002. The college is affliated to Anna Univesity, Chennai, vide Lr.No.CEP/Aff/MCE/2001 - 2002 dated 13-08-2002. It is recognised by the Govt. of Tamilnadu vide L.No.33237/J1/97 dated 29-12-1997. The college functions according to the rules and regulations stipulated by AICTE, Anna University and Government of Tamilnadu. |
