India's technological progress in Hardware and Software is primarily attributed to Non Resident Indians (NRIs)who have exelled abroad (mainly USA) in various aspects of science and technology. After achieving name, fame and success, the select NRIs have set up this group of institutions. The quality of US style education is available now locally in Bhopal. NRI Institute of Information, Science and Technology (NIIST), NRI Institute of Pharmacy (NIP) and Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS) caters to local students of MP and neighbouring states as well as international students. Taramathi Education Society which runs the Institutions, was formen in NOV 2000 by a group of NRIs based in USA and technocrates based in India. These NRIs who have achieved success and Exellence in USA have a honest desire to give back to the nation that has given them the most. This is the brain child of Mr. D. Subodh Singh who is the Chairman of the society and is highly qualified with engg. background (M.S. Computer Engg., B.E Electronics) and MBA degrees from USA. The Institute's management team comprises of highly qualified engineers and technocrats who have excelled in the fields of electronics and computers both in India as well as Abroad. The Institute is planning to start software development and research center in collaboration with Foreign Companies to train the students and send them abroad for work experience, as this organisation has tie-ups with some foreign companies such as eNetworks Corporation, Net IP Corporation, Engenius Corp., Comsys Corporation and others. The societies vision is to develop these institutes as "Center for Excellence" incorporating the best ideas from US and other educational institutions. It is time for our nation to bring in new ideas and approaches in education besides there is a dearth of good technical institutions and we intend to fill this void. The society is committed to fulfilling and exceeding the AICTE norms. The management teams intends to infuse fresh ideas, some of these include Work Study Program and others. The end result is improvement in education. The society welcomes you to contribute towards ahieving their dream. |
